Sandra Ovalle
Born in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, Graduated as an architect from Francisco Marroquin University and studied Art Preservation in Florence, Italy.
Cofounder with Alejandro of Piegatto back in 2006, what Sandra enjoys the most is designing, creating rhythms, color palettes, and movements inspired by nature, where she finds the purity of the world. Her inspiration comes from her family.
Taking into account textures, everyday life, and every moment to create new proposals that we will live with. Integrating the arts to discover rhythms and create new concepts.
Her culture and education have been the tools that have helped her design and produce objects and art pieces for Piegatto.
Since 1972, when she entered school, she discovered a passion for the arts, calligraphy, and sewing. They provide her with the mental tranquility that has kept her motivated to do more until this day. The use of color, textures, mathematics, architectural and musical rhythms are the foundation of what she does.
